Ashley is a talented young actor. He was diagnosed with a very rare autoimmune disease, PSC, which affects the liver and the bile ducts. Due to the complications of the disease, in his early twenties he had to go through a liver transplant which put his acting dreams on hold at the time. As a resilient warrior, it didn’t take long for him to get back on his feet and pursue his dreams.
With the hope of creating awareness about PSC and sharing a mothers fight to save his son, Ashley's struggle on pursuing his dreams and how organ donation save lives, this short documentary tells the resilient journey of Ashley Hudson. We aim to raise awareness about this hard-to-diagnose, rare auto immune disorder while sharing Ashley's inspiring story.
